I have extensive experience in tax services and financial consulting, including trust and business planning, business evaluations, and management services. My experience includes a broad range of industries with emphasis in real estate, automotive repair and maintenance, entertainment industries, wholesale distributors, retailers, farming, law firms, and medical and dental activities. I have also provided tax and accounting services for estates and trusts.
After graduating from college, I worked in the corporate accounting offices of a major U.S. steel manufacturer. Upon passing the certified public accounting examination I began working in public accounting at a small public accounting firm. Subsequent employment includes a position at Main Hurdman, currently one of the big three national accounting firms now known as Peat Mariwick and Main. After five years as a tax manager for a large local accounting firm, I went into practice for myself.
I hold a license to practice Public Accountancy in Texas. I am a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and also a member of the Austin Chapter.
To broaden my background, I have passed the licensing exam to become a Texas real estate broker, and am now licensed in Texas as a real estate broker.
