Jagr beat goaltender Kevin Weekes on consecutive power plays during a 5:23 span to break the 50-goal plateau for the second time in his career. The NHL's leading scorer in total points, became the second player to reach the 50-goal mark this season, joining Pavel Bure of the Florida Panthers who has 58. Colorado's Joe Sakic made it three with his 50th later Wednesday night. Mario Lemieux picked up two more assists and Alexei Kovalev scored his 44th goal of the season into an empty net for the playoff-bound Penguins, who trail fifth-place Philadelphia by just two points with two games remaining. "Mario sets up shots. I know he's going to find me," said Jagr. "I've been ready for the last couple of months for the playoffs," said Lemieux. "I feel very fresh having played only half a year." Rookie Johan Hedberg made 12 of his 23 saves in the third period for Pittsburgh, improving to 6-1-1 since being acquired from San Jose. Vincent Lecavalier had a goal and an assist for the Lightning.
