Blaze floated around the underground Detroit scene for a little while, rapping here and there under various names. He went by Psycho-C and rapped with future Halfbreed member Skrapz in a group called 2 Krazee Devils but that didn't last long. After doing background vocals on the song Whatthefuck from Twiztid's debut album "Mostasteless", Blaze signed to Psychopathic Records in 1999 and was first heard rapping on Twiztid's re-issue of Mostasteless and later, on the first Psychopathic Rydas album "Dumpin". At the Gathering in 2000, Blaze's first album on Psychopathic Records was released. It was a self titled EP of raw ass gangsta shit, not even 20 minutes long. Also at that Gathering, Blaze performed his first concert, and his hype man was none other than Jaymo from the Krazy Klan......now known as Anybody Killa.
Blaze would go on to tour the country numerous times with ICP and Twiztid, be a member of Dark Lotus and record his raps for that entire album as well as another entire Rydas album before he finally released his 2nd solo album on Psychopathic, called "1 Less G N Da Hood".
The entire year of 2002 was pretty much constant touring for Blaze, but he DID do some studio work, including guest spots for Twiztid's and ICP's respective albums as well as some new solo tracks. But those songs would never see the light of day.
In early 2003, Blaze announced on Twiztid.com that he had decided to retire from rapping. His reasons were he was just not feeling it anymore. He didn't want to tour anymore and wasn't really feeling the new music he was making and just decided to quit while he was ahead. Unfortunately, that left an entire album he had recorded.
As of this writing, Blaze is still retired and working as a roadie for Twiztid's tours.....and the album, "Colton Grundy: The Undying" has still not been released
