Winston |
First things first. He is DISGUSTING! And
very very blunt. Can be quite rude at times too. But there's something
about this guys which works the charms. The way he concentrates on something
so deeply it conceals on his facial expression. The way he runs his fingers
on the keyboard like magic as the musical scores run through his head.
I first met this geek when I was a
mere 4-year-old, 11 years ago. Back then, he didn't seem like much of a
genius. Not really a 'bully', but he can sometimes be rude enough to make
me cry. He's the type who would punch you back when you punch him. On the
other hand, he earned himself roars of laughter with all his ridiculous
antics. I recall him making all sorts of funny gurgling noises while I
was drinking, and I ended up splurting the drink all over my dress cuz
I choked on my laughter. Another time, he did an act of being in the shower
during a class project, and sent the whole class into fits of hysterical
laughter!
When he reached puberty, the mature
characteristics in him finally seem to surface. He became more serious,
but all his lame jokes still stuck with him. The lazy slug suddenly transformed
into some kind of a working machine; there was a time he worked so hard
he freaked me out! And hell, he's one good-looking guy too.
It was funny how nobody really appreciated
him when he was in our school (especially ME that is). Only when he transferred
to St.Columba after Form 3 and became an instant Wushu hit with the girls
there, did we realize what we had missed.
Winston is artistically gifted, despite
his doctor's handwriting. His brain excels in music, art and acting- his
paintings and sketches reveal his talents, and when he plays the piano
it sounds exactly like the music from the CD I put in my player. Better,
actually.
To love him or to hate him?
I still don't know.
* Winston transfered to St.Columba in 2001 and
moved to England shortly after that. He is currently studying at a boarding
school. All of us miss him a lot and wish him the best of luck in his future
undertakings.
