Do you feel dismayed as you go along life's way,

Does there seem to be trouble on every hand?

Don't be discouraged,  trust in God and pray,

When you look up, the Lord will surely help you stand.

This old world is filled with many problems

We hear of wars and strife across the land,

Earthquakes and tragedies are seen in divers places,

Fear seems to grip the heart of man.

There is no use to be troubled

Don't let your heart be dismayed,

Jesus has promised never to forsake us,

With Christ in our lives, there will be a better day.

Look up and behold the Lord,

He is the joy of your salvation

He is interceding in your behalf,

His eye is on every tribe and nation.

With eyes of faith you will see your way through

Every problem and trial is in the Lord's loving hands,

His grace is all sufficient, each day His mercies are new,

Child of God, by faith in our Good Shepherd, I know you will stand.
