10/25/00--As usual, the update is on the REVIEWS section. Today, I've covered "Evil Ed" and "Wishmaster II: Evil Never Dies".

I also changed the font on this page to Century Gothic, wondering how many people can actually see this sans serif font. If you don't get the font, you're probably seeing plain old Arial text right now. (I hope.)

10/24/00--Two more movies have been covered in the REVIEWS section: "The Hunger" (with David Bowie) and "Return of the Living Dead: Part II".

10/21/00--Just reviewed "Idle Hands" and "Pledge Night". See what I have to say about these two horror-comedies in the REVIEWS section.

10/20/00--Added "Bleeders" and "Last House on the Left" to the REVIEWS section. After a few months of non-activity, people are writing on the MESSAGE BOARD again. If you have any horror related questions or comments, be sure to leave them on the board. If you like, suggest some horror movies--whether they're grade A or grade Z material--for me to review. Let's keep the board abuzz with messages!

10/7/00--Added two more to the REVIEWS section: "Bats" and "The Eighteenth Angel".

10/5/00--New to the REVIEWS section: "Burnt Offerings" and "Necronomicon".

10/3/00--"Castle Freak", "Cube", and "The Outing" have just been covered in the REVIEWS section. Also, the NEWS section has a new look. Nearly all of the other sections have their own wormy logo, but until now, this section never got one.

I found out a few days ago that I can make really symmetrical background patterns of my own in only a minute. I always wondered how all these background designers get such symmetry in their patterns, but now I know. Jasc Paint Shop Pro 6.0 has an option called Kaliedoscope which can turn just about any image or photo into an interesting pattern.

For instance, I turned this: into this .

The other major graphic editors probably have a similar option. If you have one that does kaliedoscope effects, then you too can make your own cool backgrounds! Except maybe for knowing what to settle for, it doesn't require much effort or talent at all.

The background here was not done with kaleidoscope, but rather I found a picture of a granite rock, made it red, darkened it considerably, and drew in some sinister looking faces. This background also occasionally appears in the REVIEWS section, along with two others. To make things even more interesting, I may be adding another random background there soon.
