NEWS FLASHER

This is the NEWS FLASHER, here to bare the naked truth!

7/27/99-Just a new quote of the week, but stick around and watch the Worm Hole extend deeper into new places in the near future...

7/21/99-Yet another transcript has found a home in the NUTS section. I have hidden the link to it on one of the other transcripts. Even so, an eagle-eyed observer shouldn't have too much trouble finding it. When you come across a page mentioning ASS_HOLLY, then you've found the new transcript in all its uncensored glory (or gore, depending how you look at it)!

7/19/99-Well, the new week, as usual, begins with a new quote. That's not all, though. There is a new addition to the NUTS page! Find out what Jericho says when he fights Weasle and stargazr in the Chapel Chat Room. He's definitely a NUTS candidate.

7/17/99-The SURVEYS section has a new, less cluttered look to it, and the pop-up poll regarding the direction of the horror movie genre has now been moved to a more logical place. Beseen and InsideTheWeb recently joined forces, but unfortunately this corporate manuever has also caused the pop-up poll (courtesy of Beseen) to reset itself. Prior to reseting itself, the poll had 13 responses with six saying the horror movie genre was moving in a somewhat favorable direction and seven others asserting that the older films were better. Interestingly enough, no one chose the more extreme answers offered in the poll, suggesting that people generally have very mixed feelings toward the direction of horror films.

New addition to the SURVEYS web page! There is now a poll allowing you to pick your favorite villains and heroes from horror flicks!

7/16/99-Yet another movie, "Nightmares," has been reviewed in the REVIEWS section. Like "Twilight Zone" and "Creepshow," it's a diverse collection of short stories. Pretty interesting stuff. Read the review for details.

7/14/99-Come to the REVIEWS section to see my critique of "Body Snatchers." A lot of the sites within the Warp Zone are updated frequently. If you haven't visited them in a while, check them out now. Stick Death, for example, comes out with one or two cartoons every week. Doodie.com normally cranks out new--and very sick--animation every day!

7/12/99-The new quote of the week is posted on the home page. Also, one of my favorite websites, Newsground.com, has a new Pico video game. I have waited a month for this game to finally be completed, and now it has arrived! Go to the Warp Zone and click Newsground.com! It's so hilariously sick and violent. You won't be disappointed!

7/11/99--Check out the REVIEWS section. Two horror movies with cool cars, "Christine" and "The Wraith," have been added to the list.

7/5/99-New week, new quote. This time I quoted a few choice words from the immortal Sam Kinison. Oh! Oh! Ohhhhhhhh!! Also reviews for "Jack Frost" and "Manos: The Hands of Fate" have been posted. These are pretty bad movies, but what movie review section would be complete without negative reviews? A movie critic who seemingly likes every movie is useless. Besides, writing negative reviews is fun!

7/2/99-The movie "Screamers" has been covered in the REVIEWS section. If you have seen this movie and would like to vote for four of your favorite scenes, then head out for the SURVEYS section or use the link planted in the "Screamers" review page. On top of today's accomplishments for the Worm-Hole, I have also reviewed a highly influential horror flick, "The Omen."

7/1/99-Opening with a new month is a new addition to the SURVEYS section (courtesy of Wooden Spoon),
"Alien 3." If you like this movie, then go to the SURVEYS section and vote for four of your favorite scenes. Also a review for "Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth" (and "Hellraiser: Bloodline") has been added to the REVIEWS section.
