| A friend of the Kubos explains about Matching Gifts Hello fellow friends and supporters of the Kubo's, My wife, Elisa, and I have been friends with Jody & Lois for many years. If you are like us, you sincerely desire to give more financially to the Kubo's ministry, but the money may not be there to do it. We recently learned of an opportunity through my employer (Dell, Inc.) to give via the company's matching program and were able to double our support for the Kubo's without any additional expense on our part! I would encourage you to check with your company's Human Resource Department to see if they have a similar program. It seems they are becoming more common. The tax deduction is the same and you don't even have to worry about sending in a check. It is a great deal for everyone! It doesn't take much time and the rewards are great. Some companies even offer to double gifts, not just match them. How does a matching gift program work? You (the Kubo's ministry partner) will need to obtain a "matching gift" form from your employer. After filling out the form, you will need to send the form to Donation Services with a check (see address below). Donation Services will: � process the check � fill out the paper work � send it back to your employer to request matching funds It's that simple! FAQs Does CCC have a tax id number? Yes, 95-6006173 How long does it take to get a response? Some companies make matching gift payments monthly, some quarterly, and some annually. Your matched gift could go into the Kubo's account at any time throughout the year; it just depends upon your employer. Please keep in mind that Campus Crusade for Christ does not always qualify for matching funds from some companies. What if the matching request is declined? You may decide to resubmit a declined request, if the employer's plan has a provision for appeal.
