We liked our small dinner table for the last 7 days, but requested to be seated at a new bigger table for the remainder of the cruise. We enjoyed the company of all 10 of the new people we met and had some good conversation at dinner. Not to mention the fabulous food on board!! Anything, anytime you want to eat-it is all there. We were constantly full but kept eating just to try everything. Surprisingly, neither of us gained any weight because of all the walking on tours and decks.
The next 2 days were at sea heading towards Costa Rica. The first day out of Acapulco, we noticed at lunch that white caps were forming in the waves. Within an hour, we were in 15 foot waves, and, yep I got sick, Terry was unfazed by the motion. Seems that this particular area of ocean is where 2 sea currents collide and cause rough seas that typically last 6-12 hours. By dinner the waves were relatively back to normal as was I. That experience was the only time in the entire cruise we encountered any "sea problems'.
During the sea days, we took time out to relax, read, walk and participate in shipboard activities. We watched wooden horse races, bingo, passenger family feud games, trivia games, learned country western line dancing, and our favorite pastime-the art auctions. They were absolutely fascinating learning about the artists and then having the opportunity to bid on gallery quality, signed and numbered art work. Between the both of us, we bought 4 serigraphs-a much needed and wanted addition to our home. We, along with a core group of artsy people, had lots of fun at the art auctions.
mostly singing and dancing. The entertainment was top notch and a perfect way to end each day! With all the time changes and busy days, we were exhausted by 10:00 pm every night. One night we stayed up for the Midnight Island Night party, but we were too full to eat the Island buffet. I don't know how people can eat so much food all the time.
Next stop, Costa Rica
Every evening after dinner, we attended some sort of entertainment that was different every night. There was a comedian juggler, a magician, 2 singer comedian/impressionists, comedians, violinist, singers and several broadway type variety productions, that were
