| Sarabi is the caring mother of Simba and married to Mufasa. She is shocked when Mufasa dies and Simba runs away. Now all her beloved relatives are gone. But in the end Sarabi and Simba are reunited again. |

| Hi, my name is Simba. I am the main character of the story. I love to hang out with Nala. She's my best friend. During my stay in the jungle I met Timon and Pumbaa and I had a marvellous time with them. They are both very good friends of mine. |
| Nala is Simba's companion throughout the story. Nala and Simba get into a lot of trouble as cubs. As Nala thinks Simba died, she is devestated. But she finds Simba in the jungle and they are reunited again. They fall in love and become the new king and queen of the Pridelands |
