WMN was created by a new mom who returned to work and realized that working moms desperately need a social and supportive outlet.  She realized that she was unavailable during the week and couldn't commit to every Saturday.
That's why WMN meets ONE Saturday per month.  Moms get their monthly 2 hour respite while having the remainder of the weekend to catch up on all the things they could attend to during the week.
WMN is not limited to mothers with children of any particular ages.  Moms can bring their children and be confident that there will be activities for various ages while moms can share tips and ideas, relax, make new friends, and listen to guest speakers while nibbling on refreshments.
As a play date, WMN is an affordable outlet for working moms to unite and make lifelong friends for themselves and their children.
