| Jodi gives a perfectly perky performance as the voice of a legendary living doll Tour Guide Barbie! Jodi grew up playing with the dolls and had done some speaking and singing roles for Barbie commercials in the past. "'Tour Guide Barbie' knows all the answers and always has a smile on her face," says Jodi. "She's perfect from head to toe and very efficient in what she does. It's a fun part to play and John knows the characters so well that all you have to do is take your cue from him. I also got to do the voices for all of the other Barbies that appear in the beach scene." "At one of the first recording sessions, I remember my legs being very sore because I held them together stiffly like Barbie. I was just trying to imagine her posture when I was saying her lines. There was also a constant smile on my face like the doll itself. I love doing animated voices because you get to be uninhibited for a period of time. All that matters is what's going on the tape behind the mike. I can allow myself to just get swept away with what we're recording." |

| With the exception of Ariel, Tour Guide Barbie is my favorite character Jodi has done voice for. Her nature in the movie is absolutely hilarious! I love how she constantly smiles and then complains about it at the end of the movie. And when she says to the other toys in the "tour car" to "remain seated please", then repeats it in spanish... brilliant... |
