Hello.  I'm Jodeylin.  Jodi to those who know me.    I sing and I write songs.  One day I hope to finish a song I have writtten.  One major problem to that is I cannot play any instrument, unless by ear.  Reading the notes never seemed very interesting to me and now I regret it.  So I sing it  the way I want it to sound and then I depend on a good friend of mine I'll call UBI, to make up music for it.  It is very difficult and it has come to a stand still mostly because of me. We were working very hard on a song called "She Believed in Angels", but we ran into a lot of difficulties. The big thing is you have to be commiitted to making music 24/7, and although I can write songs and come up with the music, it is very difficult to accomplish if you aren't 100% focused 100% of the time. It can't be a hobby. The good news is that UBI has been very busy on his own...see him at www.ubibu.com.
I have been to Chicago to let record label executives hear me sing, but that wasn't even a legitimate excursion - more honestly it was a scam the company doesn't even exist.  I then went to Nashville and sang in front of more record labels.  I was so excited just being in Nashville!  Let alone singing in front of record labels once again.  I was called back to sing again only this time they wanted thousands of dollars up front.  I just don't think that is how it works.  So I decided against it and pursued my own personal career goals and financially supporting my family- I have three children ages 16,15 and 10. Currently I am thinking on returning to school. I am just not sure what for. Maybe paralegal.  I dont know for sure~~   I am just one of those restless people who  hasn't found her niche yet...but hey I am okay with it .
I am very tight knit with my family.  My sister, Jenny,  is my best friend and the wind beneath my wings. My parents and my Grandma are also right there helping me in every step of the way - I don't know where I would be without them. My friends are the world to me.  They are always there taking care of me, supporting me.  We are there for each other ALWAYS. So there you have it.  Bottom line is I am ME.  I will always be ME.  There is nothing or no one else I can be.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take. Life is measured by the moments that take our breath away.   TTYL, JOD
