"A Special Letter To God Expressing A Dog's Thoughts"

Dear God...
Exuse me, but why are there cars named after the Jaguar,
the Cougar, the Mustang, the Colt, the Stingray, and the
Rabbit, but not a single one named after a dog?

How often, God, do you see a Cougar riding around in a car?
We dogs love and enjoy a nice, cool ride in a car with the window
rolled down half way, so the breeze can blow through our
beautiful hair and ears.   I know every breed of dog cannot have its
own model, but it would be very easy to name the Chrysler Eagle,
the Chrysler Beagle...or better still, why not the Chrysler Husky...We're
strong, fast and beautiful...So what if Husky doesn't rhyme Chrysler!!
My mommy and daddy think I'm the most beautiful breed of doggie
on this earth!!

Love,

My Dear Furry Friends...

I would like to share the following letter with
you that I sent to God.  The letter was
written by a good friend of mine...And you
can see, my friend is very good at wording
and writing letters.  My friend knows just what
to say...so why don't you check it out and see.

I love you!
Buffy Rose

My Dearest Furry Friends...

The following letter was written recently by Carl the cat, and
sent out to all the neighborhood dogs...I'm not sure what Carl's
problem is...His letter is my "Pet Peeve,"  and here it is for you
to decide...

Love your friend,
Buffy Rose

My Dear Doggie Friends:

I am so sorry about some of you ending up in the dog pound...
for the lamp that you didn't break; the fish you did not spill; and
the carpet that you did not pee on; or the wall that you did not color
with red paint...We cats are guilty of doing all of these bad things,
but only you and all of us know who the guilty ones are.

Things at our homes are much calmer now, that you all are gone,
and just to show all of you doggies that we cats have no hard
feelings towards you, we are sending you a picture of a few of us,
so you will always remember us.  Sorry we ganged up on you...
But better you than us!!

Best regards,
Carl The Cat

(Note)  Can you doggies believe the gall these cats have?  They are
the ones who create havoc in the homes, but they lay all of the bad
things they do on us...In my humble opinion, I feel like cats are a
poor excuse for a pet...don't you?

Pssst...Someone told me that there were dogs living on other planets.
I decided to check it out and see...so I began howling at the moon and
stars every night...but guess what...all I ever hear back is the stupid
beagle that lives across the street!!

WELCOME TO BUFFY'S PLACE!

My name is Buffy Rose.  I am a black and white Siberian Husky and am so thankful I was adopted by the Roses. Let me tell you how I came to be a part of the Rose family.

One day, about three years ago, I was in my back yard all alone.
My parents (then), would  go to work and leave me alone every day, and I was so
lonesome I could hardly stand it.  Husky's by nature are lovers of people, and the
hate being alone all the time.

One day I was laying in the back yard just thinking about how niceit would be to
jump the fence and just romp around fancy-free forawhile. Well, I jumped the fence,
and once I was over on the other side, I just kept running, and all of a sudden, I came
to a big widestreet where lots of cars were running real fast back and forth.  I stood on
the corner for awhile trying to figure out how to cross the street to the other side...but
the cars were too fast, so I just decided to go down the street to the right.

Soon I came to a big place where they were working on cars, andjust hung around
there for awhile.  Later in the day, after trying many times to cross the street, a
truck drove up and parked close to me, and a nice man rolled his window down and
said, "Hello sweetheart!  What are you doing out here all by your self?  Are you lost?"
And  then he opened the truck door, and I jumped in and sat down beside him.  He gave
me a big hug and said, "What is your name beautiful?  It's a wonder you didn't get
killed out there on Yadkin Road...Would you like to go hme with me?"  I was so
happy  I had found a nice friend!

We were not in the truck but a short few minutes, when we drove into the drive-way of this beautiful house. A nice lady came out and gave me a big hug and kiss and invited me inside. This was the nicest couple!  And later I met another Siberian Husky named Kola and Tisha, and they immediately adopted me, and it was like I had always been a part of this family.

Then for several days, some people came by to see me. At first I didn't understand
why, but later learned the Roses were trying to find my mommy and daddy.
Everytime someone would stop by to see me, I would become frightened and run to
my new daddy. No one ever did take me home with them, and this made me very
happy  because I wanted to stay  with the Roses.

The Roses adopted me later, and I had so much fun with Kola and Mama Tish...Then
one day, Mama Tish got real sick and soon died at age 16...I loved her so much, she
was like my real mommy to me.  Several years after Mama Tish died Kola became ill,
and died at age 16 too.  I miss both of them so much!  Then all of a sudden, I realized
that I was now an only child, since Mama Tish and Kola went to dog heaven.  I was so sad
for a long time, 'cause being an only child  isn't any fun to me!  I love my adopted
mommy and daddy...It's like I have always lived with them.  Am I happy I ran away?
You betcha bottom dollar, I am!!  And I wouldn't go back to my other home,
if given a chance!
