Radiohead: Amnesiac
Release date: June 5,2001
EMD/Capitol

Being one of the biggest Radiohead fans out there, I am usually extremely biased about my feelings towards every new RH adventure packed into a small disk. With
Kid A, I was shocked, but imagined it was a passing thing. I hoped that Thom and the boys were  just experimenting and soon things will be back to normal with the next record. Nope.

Originally,
Amnesiac and Kid A were supposed to be released at the same time as a double disk, which explains a lot. I just hoped for more from the band who gave birth to the greatest rock album of the 90s, The Bends. Don't get me wrong, there are definately highlighs: "Knives Out", for instance, is RH at their finest.

So the bottom line is...it's Radiohead, so it's not crap. It's just not
The Bends or OK Computer. Think of it as Kid A Jr. If you are truely a Radiohead fan, get it. If not, maybe it will turn you into one. And that's a good thing.

Release Date: March 27, 2001
Sony/Columbia

Woo Hoo! Not only do I smell Grammy....I can taste it.
musicforthemorningafter just might be the most magnificent album released in my lifetime. I can honestly say that there is not a bad song on it. Every single song is classic. I wish that I could give out 11's or 15's. Ok I'll give it a 10+ ...it's just that good.

There really isn't much more to say other than GO BUY THIS RECORD!

And if you live near Smithfield, the music store in the pottery has it for less than $9.
