May Meeting

Apologies : R Nedalkov.
The meeting was chaired by Greg Fitzjames and opened at 7.05pm.
President's report
Greg Fitzjames thanked everybody for turning up and advised all is going well.
Secretary's report
Steve Kirk advised all is going well with very few seeding errors this year.
Treasurer's report
Glen Zordan Will advise of balance at a later date after team monies are recieved and calculated up
Payment of Team Fees Clovelly, Coogee, Mascot A and B all paid their team fees.
This leaves Maroubra Seals and Bronte outstanding
General Business
# The Champion of Champions day will be held at Maroubra 24th June 2006 starting at 10am.
There was a discussion about leaving the day at Coogee but due to the restriction of tables (they now have 3) the committee thought it best if Maroubra held it (They have 4 tables)
Posters and more information about the day will be sent to Captains sometime next week
# Finals Format for 2006 will be top 4 - 1 v 2 (winner into Grand Final) 3 v 4 (winner to play loser of the first game the following week).
# The Grand Final for 2006 will be held at Bronte on Saturday 22nd July at 4pm
There was a discussion about holding the final on a Monday night but Bronte advised they would have trouble catering for the event if this was the case. Final to remain on a Saturday.
