Champion of Champions
Steve Kirk advised he had spoken to Mick Anderson of Coogee Randwick RSL requesting the Coogee Randwick snooker room be reserved for the Champion of Champions day on 18th June from 10am. Mick Anderson had indicated that this shouldn't be a problem.
Unfortunately Mick Anderson was not at the meeting so this could not be confirmed.
However planning for the event to be held 10am 18th June at Coogee Randwick is proceeding.
Steve Kirk advised posters and nomination sheets will be sent out to Team Captain's shortly.
The cut off date of nominations will be 14th June when the sheets will be collected by Steve Kirk.
Steve Kirk advised he had received correspondence from Alex Render of Coogee Randwick requesting that the final be amended from best of 3 frames to best of 5 frames - This was agreed too.
The event will once again be seeded and the cost of entry will be $5 per player.
Glen Zordan mentioned for the sake of transparency would it be possible for the draw to be made by two people rather than just the secretary as it was last year? It was decided Alan Goodwin and Steve Kirk will perform the draw together after the nomination sheets have been returned 14th June.

General Business
# Steve Kirk advised that if the interest was high a bus could be organised for supporters to attend the 2nd leg of the East/West challenge at Bexley. Anyone interested in going by bus should contact Steve Kirk
The date for the 2nd leg is yet to be decided.

# Due to recent unruly behaviour by a repeat offender, players and representatives of the Jock McLean Shield are requested not to misbehave during tournament play and at official functions, or possible suspension may occur.

# Glen Zordan said he was very disappointed in the attendance for the meeting and it appears the same old people are doing all the organising. He was particularly dismayed about the same teams once again not attending the meeting and was generally very dispondent about the whole thing.
Glen was advised unfortunately you can't force people to attend but there was general agreement that the apathy being shown by other people/players is pretty poor.

# Due to poor attendance it was decided there will no more meetings in 2005.

Meeting closed 7.25pm
