The meeting was chaired by Greg Fitzjames and opened at 6:40 pm.
President's report
Greg Fitzjames thanked everyone for attending the meeting and hoped that the Champion of Champions day would be a success.
Minutes from the meeting of May 2003 were adopted. Moved S Phillips, Seconded E Howden.
Secretary's report
Steve Kirk advised of another seeding error in Round 12 by Coogee Randwick A.
Apart from that, all going well.
Treasurer's report
Glen Zordan advised the balance of our account presently stands at $395 which included team payments from Seals and Mascot from the last meeting.
Bronte, Coogee Randwick and Malabar payments from tonight need to be added.
Coogee Randwick also presented the committee with a $400 cheque to help with the Champion of Champions day outlay - This was gratefully accepted by the committee.
Glen was thanked for his assistance.
Team Payments
Bronte, Coogee Randwick A, Coogee Randwick B and Malabar paid $80 team payments.
This leaves Clovelly and Yarra Bay outstanding.
Champion of Champion's Day
Clovelly, Coogee-Randwick, Malabar and Maroubra presented player lists for the comp.
Steve Kirk to contact Bronte, Mascot and Yarra Bay to chase them up to see if they are interested.
Draw to be made Saturday and put on the web asap
Finger food will be available at 2pm
Raffle to be held to help costs
General Business
# Eddie Howden again brought up the "lack of markers" problem - Advised Eddie not much can be done if home team captains don't make an effort to supply them.
