The meeting was chaired by Greg Fitzjames and opened at 6:15 pm.
President's report
Greg Fitzjames thanked everyone for attending and said all is going well.
Minutes from the AGM of 2001 were adopted. Moved E Howden Seconded S Phillips.
Secretary's report
Steve Kirk advised 3 seeding errors up to round 9 have occurred - Maroubra Seals B twice and Malabar once. Points were deducted as per the rules.
Steve also advised that the faxes were arriving smoothly and thanked the Captains of each team for sending them on time.

Treasurer's report
Glen Zordan advised the balance was $107.
Payment of Nomination Fees
Bronte, Coogee Randwick and Maroubra Seals paid their nomination fees.
This leaves Clovelly, Malabar, Mascot and Yarra Bay outstanding.
Final Venues
It was decided that this years Grand Final will be played at Clovelly with Bronte, Coogee Randwick, Malabar and Maroubra clubs providing venues for the lead up games once the make up of the top 5 is known.
Champions of Champions
It was decided that this year the day will be held on 23rd June commencing at 11am at Coogee Randwick RSL (To be confirmed with Coogee Randwick Snooker committee).
Prize money will be :
First $200
Runner up $100
3rd and 4th $50
This money will be given by the Jock Mclean Shield committee who will also pay for the light meters on the tables.
It was also decided there will be NO LIMIT on the number of players allowed to enter. Only condition being you must have played at least one game in the Jock Mclean proper or be a non playing CAPT. In the event of having more than 32 players for the day PLAY OFF games will be held after the draw is known.
Nomination fees for each player will be $5 payable to there team capt.
A nomination sheet and poster will be forwared to each club ASAP.
Club captains are requested to return the nomination sheet with names,PHONE NUMBERS of players and monies at the next meeting (Wed 13th June) when the draw will be made.
It is requested that all players make themselves available from 11am on the day - If your name is called to play you will have 2 mins to make yourselves known to the Jock Mclean Committee who will be running the day. If you are not in attendance you will FORFEIT the game - NO EXCEPTIONS
There will also be raffles run and it is asked that each club provide a prize for such raffle.
Food will be sorted on the day - Pizza more than likely.
General Business
# Unruly behaviour by players and spectators was brought to the committees attention.
It was ruled that such behaviour should not be tolerated and that Club Captains should address there players or fans to curb it.
In the event that the behaviour is done by a player and he/she has a second offence steps will be taken to prevent the player from taking part in the competion completely - IE They will be BARRED.
The issue originally raised will be brought to the attention of the Club Captain it concerns.
# Yarra Bay were commended for their added enthusism in this years comp by contacting other Captains to organise early games.
# Next meeting Wednesday June 13th 2001 at Clovelly 6 pm.
