Annual General Meeting

The meeting was chaired by Greg Fitzjames and opened at 6:13 pm.
President's report
Greg Fitzjames thanked everyone for attending and congratulated Coogee Randwick on hosting a great Grand Final night.
Minutes from the AGM of 2000 were adopted. Moved M Anderson Seconded Bob Barker.
Secretary's report
Steve Kirk advised last year went very smoothly with the exception of a few seeding errors, which will again be enforced this year.
Steve advised he had contacted Easts Leagues in the off season with the hope of getting them to join the competition but they had declined.
Steve also advised that the website is again available on line at www.geocities.com/jockmcleanshield
Treasurer's report
Mal Stewart advised at the beginning of the year the balance was $284, and now stands at $165.
Glen Zordan was thanked for his assistance.
Election of New Committee
The President declared all positions vacant : The following people were elected.
President : Greg Fitzjames - Nominated Mick Anderson, Seconded Bob Barker.
Secretary : Steve Kirk - Nominated Paul Walker, Seconded Eddie Howden.
Treasurer : Glen Zordan - Nominated Paul Walker, Seconded Mal Stewart.
General Business
# Teams for this year are Bronte, Clovelly, Coogee Randwick A, Coogee Randwick B, Malabar, Maroubra Seals A, Maroubra Seals B, Mascot and Yarra Bay - 9 in total which mean a weekly bye.
# Competition will start Monday 5th March 2001
# Same rules as last year.
# Finals format will be the same as last year - Top 5.
# Yarra Bay and Mascot were asked to organise with visiting captains an early start due to the fact they only have 2 tables.
# Bob Barker thanked Steve Kirk for the website that he maintains for results etc.
# Next meeting Wednesday May 9th 2001 at Clovelly 6 pm.
