I had never lifted a brush until September 1999 and that was at a girlfriend's when she took me off to folk art. I very soon found folk art restrictive and exacting so decided daubing it around a bit might be more my cup of tea. So now I concentrate on landscapes and old dilapidated buildings.
I mostly use acrylics but have played with watercolour and sometimes water the acrylics down for a w/c effect. I paint from out of my head and exhibit work regularly
