Chops
1 cup
rice-uncooked
3 cups
hot water
1 tsp.
salt
1/4
tsp. pepper
1
large onion, chopped fine (optional)
1 can
(10 ounce) cream of broccoli soup,
undiluted
1
large green pepper, thinly sliced

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Trim fat
from
pork chops. Brown chops on both
sides
in a skillet. Mix all remaining
ingredients in a shallow 2-quart
baking
dish.
Place pork chops on top and cover
dish
with aluminum foil. Bake for 1 hour
or
until chops and rice are tender.
