Mother sent your pictures. You are, indeed, quite lovely with your braces removed, and what a beautiful smile. You are, also, beautiful in another way. After you called today to thank me for your "smile," I started to think of how nice it was for you to call. Oh, I already knew that you appreciated the gift of your braces, but it was nice to hear your voice expressing it.
Now you know how Grandma's mind runs on, and from there I went to how much God must like it when we call him in prayer to say "Thank you for today's smiles." Oh, He knows our thankful hearts, but he likes to hear us say it. How easily we go to Him when our lives are in a turmoil. He listens, He solves, He comforts. I'm sure He loves it when we come to him with thankful hearts. I heard the smile in your voice today, and it made my heart soar, and I thanked God for it. I love you. Grandma
