brown sugar-packed

tsp. vanilla

Cup All Purpose Flour

tsp. baking powder
1/4
tsp. salt
1 Cup
chopped dates
1/2
Cup chopped pecans
Confectioners sugar

Mix
oil and brown sugar; add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Sift
dry ingredients; add to egg mixture. Stir in dates and nuts;
pour into oiled 8x8x2 inch pan. Bake in 300 degree oven for
30-35 minutes. Cut into bars; roll in confectioners sugar.
Yield: 32-1x2 in bars.
