When a future Masked Marvel came through a termporal disturbance, she helped the present Marvel to defeat Black Rose. Future MM gave him a device that would hold her specific molecules in place. Black Rose put out huge levels of energy to break out, and split into two beings. One was Black Rose and the other was her original psyche, who renamed herself Psywave, after joining with Masked Marvel.
