
The mural was designed by Carlos Nunes, with some input from members of his team. The actual painting involved the work of a total of six people, over the span of three months.

Finally, after the near-completion of the mural, other areas of the interior were addressed and restoration entered its final phase.

Further work was carried out at St. Mary of the Angels during February of 2003, with the assistance of the multi-talented Mark Harley, a Toronto-based graphic artist and designer.
