I found this in the book The World Of Ballet by Judy Tatchell
Carla Fracci (born 1936) was the first Italian ballerina of the 20th century to win international acclaim. She trined at La Scala, Milan and was a ballerina there until 1963. She is known for her traditional roles and her wonderful Romantic style.
