My first commision was to draw nuts and fruits for a French-Californian Oil Product Label. I was referred by a friend to do freelancing. I enjoyed the work because I learned alot during the researching process about the thing I was to draw. I went online looking at hundreds of images and photos of these walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts and grapes.
The Client wanted these pictures to sit on the label bordering the title. I have yet to buy a set of my own oils for collection purposes, but he said they would be selling at Whole Foods stores in the east bay area (California) to begin with. Hopefully the product will sell to more fine food stores and delis in the future. |
