time so check back..
our first apartment was my basement apartment but pretty soon she got tired of it and we
went apt.hunting. We found an apt on Westminster rd.(e12 st)in Brooklyn it was without exageration the size
of my house now and it only cost 205 a month... we had a great 2 years there..
She worked in nyc and we loved to go walking around on our days off..this would stay with us
as a habit until the end... we watched the first pilings for Battery Park city with a giant
helicopter being placed in the fill from the World Trade Center...we watched and did not have the
nerve to try and buy an apt.there we woul not have any worries if we bought a few apts. there. And who would have thought it would come down..
In my heart I feel that the toxins from it and the demolition and the clean up are some how something to do with her cancer... the oncologist told me she has had many moore pancreatic cancers since 9/11 and the fact she worked one block away could not help...
i believe it was Sept 2004 we went own there again it was so crowded and so full of young rich
and pretty people but I had the most beautiful women in the world next to me and i was holding
her hand .
We sat and talked and cried for we knew that the life we had worked and planned for was now on
the rocks and probobly even sinking but we had our dreams and we would not give them up.
We would go to the green bow restaurent in Chinatown for a early dinner and head home for we had to go to work
tomorrow.
