Hi, I'm Joanna.

I'm nineteen, and I study physics at the University of Durham.

No, please don't give me that look... I'm not insane, honest... no really, I'm not...

In my spare time I sing in a choir and play flute, I also spend a ridiculous amount of time online.

My favourite part of physics has to be the astronomy and astrophysics side. I love to look at the stars at night, and see the constellations. I've heard people say that to deconstruct the behaviour of the world around us makes it loose its beauty. But I can still look up at Orion and see the Hunter, as the Ancient Greeks did.

I enjoy listening to music, too. Currently in my CD collection isquitea variety, from Shania Twain to Shostakovich, from the Beatlesto Beethoven , although at the moment the classical side is winning,I have to say. If you ever get the chance, listen to Spem In Alium by Thomas Tallis. It isa motet in forty parts, and very beautiful...

I just adopted my MP.

I've @dopted Mr Keith Bradley, MP for Manchester, Withington!
