Rose's poem for Clive
as published on eStar's Clive Robertson Message Board

    nlike you - this missy
    needs to pay the bills
    heck - to survive
    so i missed you
    at the SOS function
    Oh Darn it! CLIVE!

    while you were
    flashing that
    gorgeous smile
    swaggering
    by the pool
    there i was
    stuck in the office
    where i can't
    even drool
    (it's unprofessional
    you know...)

    maybe i'll see
    you again someday
    but bloody
    (i can't say)
    what's taking you
    so long to
    come our way

    i'm not asking
    for too much
    only to see
    you on my screen
    i can't last
    another month
    (make that a second)
    without seeing
    your Cheshire grin

    and so here's
    another desperate
    plea
    for the sake of
    humanity
    Libby, please
    set Clive free
    Uh - oh - I mean
    WE NEED CLIVE
    BACK ON TV!!!

Rose's
Mambo Number Clive

A little bit of Ben-Ben in my life

A little bit of Derek-Derek by my side

A little bit of Evans is all I need

A little bit of Clive is what I see

A little bit of Ben-Derek in the sun

A little bit of Derek-Ben all night long

A little bit of Clive here I am

A little bit of CBD makes me your Gal

Sheila's Response to
Creatively Dirty Minds on this Pure List [BML]

Lust is the word that makes us ponder,
How can we have Clive we have to wonder?
Libby is lucky there is no doubt,
All we can do is look and pout.
Susan is coming soon now you'll see
We'll all be happy and shouting with glee!
Ben and Meg will show these gals how,
Too make love and mean it, OH BABY NOW!
I'm gonna miss Derek this is so true,
But I'm ready for Ben how about you?
I'm not a poet unless it starts with Nantucket,
If I had Clive I'd really......
OOPS, gotta go now!

A Nanny Calling Herself Tess
by Rose

A nanny calling herself Tess
appeared out of nowhere
to make Meg-Ben's life a mess
Seattle, she claims to be from
spending quality time with Benjy
while Maria upped and gone
Coaching Benjy on the sly
Feeding Meg's insecurities
Lie upon lie upon lie
Maria, we're best friends
When your missing years return
We can chat again about fashion trends
Seriously, don't give up on Ben just yet
You belong together forever
and Benjy is our bratty meal ticket
Now, I have Benjy under my spell
nd Tim smitten with me
Oh, Derek, you have taught me well

"There was a Young Man from Nantucket"
by Rose
There was a young man from Nantucket
who fell off the wagon with a bucket
as he threw his entire future away
when caught cheating on his wedding day
This young man left for the Beach
attaching himself to her lady like a leech
despite her lady's obvious unwavering eye
to one adorable, handsome British guy
Alas! This young man is still at the Beach
even after all the hard lessons a fall can teach
as he continues his relentless pursuit
of the lady who never tires to give him the boot
This poor imbecile man from Nantucket
creating all of this unnecessary racket
Spare us your slob, go back to the farm
Maybe back there the cow you can charm

Additional Comments: I appreciate your poem, really I do, but I do not want to go back to the past. I told you that. I
don't want to hurt you, but you keep making me say this. So, I wrote you a poem too.

Maria, Meg is my Forever Special Occasion

My gift is Meg, wrapped in a glow that's true
I make my home in her arms. I live for her
Nothing else can compare to what we share
We live in a world of our own
There's so much love between us
Meg is my life. I can't live without her
I wouldn't even want to try.
What would I be without her?
I don't even want to find out, so I make this toast to her.
Meg, you are what I celebrate, like a never ending holiday.
Meg is my FOREVER SPECIAL OCCASION
What does she mean to me?
Only the very air that I breathe
                 Nothing would mean a thing
                 without her in my arms
If I could suffer her pain
I'd gladly hurt in her place
My love for you was not the same
and not worth much of anything
My devotion to her will never change
All I live to do is to pay homage to Meg
Meg is what I celebrate like a never ending holiday
She is my forever special occasion
                 that never ending holiday
She's my Christmas, My Valentine, My Easter, My Birthday, My Anniversary
All of my never ending holidays
I am sorry Maria, but Meg is my everything. There is no going back even if the kid is mine.

Additional Comments: I wrote Meg another poem. It's sappy too, but I'm just a sappy kind of guy. It's a rip off of James
Weldon Johnson, but I never claimed to be creative. Just inventive if you know what I mean. I wrote Maria one too,
but I don't think that she would appreciate it, so I am going to save that one.

          The Creation by Ben Evans

On the 1st Day - The Big Guy created the world and said "that's good."
On the 2nd Day - He created Meg and said "that's very good."
On the 3rd Day - He created me and said "All Right."
On the 4th Day - He created the garden of Eden and said, "hmmmm."
On the 5th Day - He put Meg and me in the Garden of Eden and said, "I wonder what they will do?"
On the 6th Day - Meg and I got busy in the Garden of Eden and he gave us a high five and said "Looking Good!"
On the 7th Day - He had a cigar and said, "I'm done. I've created prefection".

Message:  Calm down. I didn't mention God, you did and I didn't say what he was was doing with the cigar, but you
decided that too. But that's okay. Even with your jaded definition of blasphemy, I understand. I got the feeling that
you didn't like my little poem. It broke my heart, so I put pen to paper and stole another one just for you. I   hope
that  you like this one better. It's called the "Look of Love In Meg's Eyes." I've got to get me a book to keep  these
    things in.

Look of Love in Meg's Eyes

The look of love, it's in her eyes
the look her smile can't disguises
Her look of love, is saying so much more than words could ever say
What her heart is saying, It takes my breath away
I can hardly wait to hold her, I want to feel my arms around her
I have waited ever so long, just to feel my arms around her
I don't ever want to see her go, that's why I keep saying
The look of love that's on her face
That old time look of love that can never, never be denied
Meg will you be mine? Please say that that you will be mine
Let this be just the start of so many nights like this
Let's take a lover's vow, I bet we can seal it with a kiss every time
I can hardly wait to hold you, I want to feel my arms around you
That look that's in your eyes, you naughty girl
Makes me beat my chest and smile and grin all the time ha, ha.
