Tim: I just started my break.
Tess: So I heard. Benjy's filling in.
Tim: Yeah, it's nice to know that I can be replaced by a five-year-old any time.

Tess: This is working so well I don't think that we need Casey.
Tim: We DO. Because Ben is never going to give up on Meg, I can promise you that. And Meg will never give up on Ben either.

To Tess about Casey:
Tim: Trust me, that overgrown Boy Scout is the only person Meg's going to turn to.

Meg: All I did was make a phone call, Ben.

Meg: Just so you know, this is only temporary. I'm not staying for good.
Ben:[to himself] That's what you think.

Sara: I'm so sorry, Meg.
Meg: For what?
Sara: I just reminded you of Ben.
Meg: You didn't have to. I can't stop thinking about him.

Joan: [about Meg] Does she really think I can't see all the pain she's in?

Maria: I wanted to know how things are with Meg.
Ben: Well, there's not much to tell, Meg thinks it's over and I don't.

Ben: There's something you have to come to terms with, Maria... if you haven't already. That's that I want Meg and I to spend the rest of our lives together.

Ben and Maria are talking about Tess:
Maria: I cannot stop thinking that there is something about her.
Ben: Besides her big mouth?

Ben is running a check-up on Tess:
Ben: Is there really something to be suspicious about? Or am I just looking to blame Tess for how much I miss Meg?

Tim:[to Tess on the phone] Don't worry. I know exactly how to break up Sara and Mr. Baywatch.

Tess: I realize that Tim's not exactly the most popular guy in this town, but I've actually discovered a side of him that most people don't see.
Ben: Would that be the lying cheating side or the sort of slimy side?

Benjy: Daddy, can I ask you something?
Ben: Of course, what is it?
Benjy: Why are you so sad all the time?
Ben: You think I look sad, Benjy? Well, I must admit I though I'd been hiding it better than that, but I guess you must know me pretty well.

Meg: [seeing the set-up in the casita] What we had was the happiest day of my life.

Maria sees Ben on the deck, gazing into the night.
Maria: You can't actually see Surf Central from here, can you?

Maria:[to Ben] Look, I know how much it must hurt being away from Meg. Being away from the one you love.

Maria tells Ben that Gabi and Ricardo are back together:
Ben: Well, I hope things work out for them.
Maria: Things usualy do. If you don't give up on them.
Ben: I know.
Maria: You should go find her. Find a way to make her listen. Do whatever you can. What have you got to lose?

Benjy: Are you mad at my daddy?
Maria: Why would I be mad at him, sweetheart?
Benjy: Because he misses Meg.
Maria: Well, your daddy, he can't help how he feels.
Benjy: Meg isn't coming back, is she?
Maria: Now, sweetie, I don't know that.
Benjy: She has her own mommy and daddy, she doesn't have to live with mine.
Maria: You're right. But she is a very important part of daddy's family.

Tess brags about the perfect little family that Ben and Maria and Benjy make up:
Maria: We're not quite the traditional family, Tess. We never have been and we never will be.

Sara: Oh, Ben, I really thought I found what I needed with him. And I really thought that Meg had what she wanted with you. I guess you could say that Cummings girls are in quite a slump right now.
Ben: Well, believe me, I wanted it to work out, too. I still do.
Sara: Oh, you know, I mean, it can, with you and Meg.
Ben: Me and Meg. Well, I'm not giving up.

Ben: What?
Sara: Nothing.
Ben: No, you were going to say something.
Sara: Yeah, but it was out of context.
Ben: Then it was about Meg.
Sara: How do you know?
Ben: Because you are trying to hide it. And there is only one thing you try to hide from me and it's something about your sister.
Sara: You know, Casey, has always had feelings fro Meg.
Ben: I know. They're friends. Best friends.
Sara: Come on, Ben. Have you ever really believed that a man and a woman can be just friends and nothing else?
Ben: I try not to waste my time on it.
Sara: Look, we're not exactly talking about a Will&Grace kind of friendship where Meg and Casey are concerned.

Sara:  Ben, if you would just really just look at this, really, I think you would see that there is more to it than that.
Ben: Where is this coming from, Sara?
Sara: I'm trying to tell you, what happened with me and Casey... I drove Casey away because of my jealousy about his feelings towards Meg. You did the same thing to Meg with Maria.

Sara: However unintentionally, we have managed to push them right into each other's arms.

Ben saw Meg and Casey kissing:

Tim: When I was leaving Surf Central, who comes running off the beach but Ben.
Tess: In the middle of the night?
Tim: Yeah. I don't know, he looked really ticked.

Tess: I wonder what he saw at the beach.
Tim: I don't know, but it really messed him up, I never seen him like that. And it wasn't just the rain.

Maria: Tess, Ben is not coming back to me.

Maria: Well, you look awful.
Ben: Thank you.

Casey: Hey, how are you doin'?
Meg: Good, I was just thinking.
Casey: About Ben?
Meg: Meg, Yeah, I can't stop thinking about him.

Benjy:[to Tim] Go away.
Tess: Benjy, don't be rude.
Benjy: Okay. Go away, please.

Maria: Please, English [yes, she dared!], tell me what's wrong. [Ben gets irritated]
Ben: Maria, would you just go back to the house, please?
Maria: No, not with you so upset, Ben, I'm worried about you.
Ben:[angrily] Maria, do you remember when we were in the hospital after Ricardo got shot?
Maria: Yes?
Ben:[even more angrily] You told me I gave up the right to worry about you because we were no longer together. Well, it cuts both ways, Maria. My problems aren't your problems anymore!
Maria: Okay. [walks away, but you know that leech just won't let go....] No, you know what? No, I am not leaving you like this.
Ben:[shouts] Maria, for God's sake, would you just get out of here?!!!

Maria: You might as well tell me what's going on.
Ben: It's none of your bussiness.
Maria: I am your wife! [yes, she DID dare!]
Ben: EXCUSE ME?!

Meg: I was thinking, what if I had never come to Sunset Beach to find Ben.
Casey: But you had to come. You were in love with him.
Meg: Oh, I thought he was the perfect man. I thought that he was romantic and mysterious and sad. Perfect, you know? And we were the perfect couple if we remained anonymous to each other.
Casey: But you loved him even more when you met him.

Maria: Is that what this is all about? Did something happen between you and Meg?
Ben: What happned between me and Meg is my bussiness, not yours.

Maria: Look, Meg was my friend when no one knew who I was. She took care of me and I will always be grateful for that. But you took care of me, too.
Ben: How? By falling in love with another woman? By wanting a divorce?

Maria: You'd be the last person to admit how much pain you're in.
Ben: Probably because I'm the one who caused it in the first place.

Ben: Look, I never meant for this to happen, Maria.
Maria: I wanted you for even just a moment. But that moment is gone. And reality is here and we have to deal with it.

Meg: This has nothing to do with Ben and Maria, does it, Annie, this has nothing to do with them at all! This has to do you hating me, doesn't it.

Meg: You made me realize how lucky I am.

Meg: Well, I really don't think I woyuld have made it through today if you hadn't come by here and gloat. I mean, you made me see how very thankful I really am.

Ben: I probably would have found out but... I heard... Meg telling Casey it was over and... she never wanted to see me again.

Ben: Meg, look, I can't do this.
Meg: Do what?
Ben: I miss you like hell, Meg.
Meg: I miss you, too. But there's nothing you can do, you can't change it.

Meg: I think that we've all said everything we can.

Meg: You're right cause I can still kick your butt!

Joan: I have the perfect solution. Okay? It's easy, it makes complete sense and it is the only way to keep you two from tearing each other's hair out.
Meg: You know what? You're right, mom. I can have her deported!

Ben called Sara. Meg picked up:
Ben: I should let you go. Meg are you...? Is everything all right?
Meg: Same as always. So, I take it you haven't found out anything about Tess?
Ben: No, not yet.
Meg: Okay. Ahm.. Well, then I should probably go.
Ben: Yeah. Thanks. Meg before you go... ah... I'm glad Sara wasn't there. It gave me a chance to talk to you. Take care of yourself.
He hangs up the phone and that's the last we hear or see of him. So does Meg for that matter.
