Saturday!

The big day was here and there was lots to do. After breakfast, Brother Love's Choir had its shameless rehearsal, which lasted for two hours. They sang to the tune of Brooklyn on a Saturday Night, changing the lyrics to Chicago on a Saturday Night along with other changes. Fingers just naturally began to snap while we were practicing, so we decided to divide up into right-handed snappers and left-handed snappers and let the snapping happen. Then we lined everyone up according to height and formed two rows. The choir director reminded the back row to "adjust themselves" so they could be seen between the heads of the front row. We practiced and practiced our entrance, lining up, adjusting ourselves, singing and snapping, and our exit till we had it just right.

During the afternoon, the decorating committee assembled in the party room to hang posters and decorate the tables.

Back: Caryn Miglio, Tom Ziber, Sally Davis, Lois Labendz, Linda Weiloch, Shirley Munday
Front: Anne Fortin, Robbie Reuetner, Moira Scott, Joan Nurczyk

Many guests spent time decorating their hotel room doors with Diamond memorabilia, frogs, pictures, etc. It wasn't hard to pick out the room of a Diamond fan. Here are the doors we found.
