The youth Rally at the International Christian Center (ICC) was held by Joey Casora and was an awesome experience with God. In the beginning of the rally, about 2-3 youth groups were there, and I could tell Joey was a bit worried that people wouldn't show up, but God is awesome and He would have be there even if there were only a couple people in that worship center. At the youth rally they had special guests coming from the American Indian college (AIC). They did skits, human videos, and the praise and worship was lead by Moe and AIC's worship team. One of the members of ACI, Jon, came up and gave the word. He talked about how sometimes, the best witnessing is done with your mouth shut. Meaning that most of the time, we don't need to say anything to be a witness, we can show it in what we do, how we deal with the horrors of life, and just in our actions. As everyone knows "actions speak louder than words".
There was an altar call towards the end of the service and Jon asked if anyone had things in there life that weren't pleasing to God, as Jon had, and had to give it up to God. There was another calling for those that thought that being a Christian was really hard- I personally thought it was pretty hard. The response to the altar calls were overwhelming and there wasn't a doubt that God was there. He then asked for leaders to pray for those that went up for the two callings. And that service was by far a memorable experience. Of course, in the end there was food!! To be exact it was ham and cheese sandwiches and a variety of chips!
I believe the rally, overall was an awesome experience and "wasn't just a moment, but a movement"(Nathan) in people lives.
