"The fool prepares while the wise man eats." - Genghis Kahn |
|
How does it work? There are over a million books published every year. Half of them are self-help books. There are lots of people in the world who realize that they need help, and most of them are willing to pay for it. "Murphy's Law" tells us that we are going to run into the web surfer who doesn't think he needs any help, and who (even if he did) is not willing to do a damn thing to help himself. Well obviously, we can't either pal, so just keep surfin'. (Have a nice day.) The astounding truth is: how much you get out of anything is proportional to how much you are willing to put into it. A mutant is always ready to shove it his whole stack of chips and "Take a chance". Are you ready to go "all the way live" on a whim? If not, perhaps you aren't really one of the hundred thousand. No matter, we have been authorized to assimilate an additional 44,000 - but these men and women have to work extra hard. (Much harder than a natural-born mutant would ever have to.) |

"It is better to shoot and miss then not to shoot at all." - Hermann Goering |
|
I love to use Hermann Goering quotes, because he was an interesting person: World War I German fighter ace and holder of the "Blue Max", one of the major engineers of the "Third Reich", creator of the Luftwaffe, and, when his IQ was tested at Nuremberg, it was the highest ever recorded. Even in the end, he cheated the hangman and thumbed his nose at the "Allies". I hereby bestow on him the title of Honorary Mutant.
Now, back to you. It is not enough to shave your head and proclaim yourself a mutant, nove humano, or superhomine (although it's a good start). The world is already full of wannabes of every stripe and designation. The thing that sets you apart as the genuine article is your willingness to go all the way. The bad news is: you have a long way to go. Where do you want to go today?
There are so many places to go, so much to do, and a myriad of things to see. The world awaits the probing intellect of the mutant, and rewards it with treasures beyond imagination. Can you feel the electricity in the air? |
