
The Stoics were disciples of a Greek philosopher named Zeno. Stoic philosophy is in many ways similar to the Taoist philosophy of China. Both teach one to attune with his/her inner nature, which the Romans called Reason, the Chinese the Tao, and the Greeks the Logos.
