Honesty
Life so embittered,
An existense in tears,
I've abandoned my hopes;
Given in to my fears.
Is there a way to ignore pain?
A single chance to forget?
I'm disgusted with nature,
And every human I've met.
A heart will break--
That's its destiny, for sure.
Love makes it sickly,
Dark, and impure.
I cannot fathom you,
Your intentions have lied.
As it beats to a shatter
It's my faith I have cried.
Deny yourself,
You always do,
But I won't give into this envy,
Or infatuation for you.
