| Brian and I always talk about taking a road trip. We really wanted to get one in during college when we were able to take that time off and not worry about missing anything important. That kinda fell apart when Brian dropped out of college and went into the full-time work and I, consequently, stayed pretty permanently employed through the entirety of my breaks.

| Which means we have to fit one in now. It won’t be too bad for me since my job provides vacation days literally flying out of the company’s ass. Brian’s will be a little trickier—he only gets one week of paid vacation a year—but we can afford to have him take unpaid days for a while, so it’ll work out.

| As far as destinations, we don’t know. We’re toying with going to Maine in the summer sometime. We’re both huge seafood fans (though I’m more the southern shrimp and catfish type than lobster and clams), and a bed & breakfast tour of the coast of Maine actually fits the two of us pretty well. Also, there’s some gorgeous scenery around there so hiking and camping can keep the activities and accommodations cheap.

| We’re also pretty interested in hitting up Boston to do some random sightseeing—and by sightseeing we mean pub tour. New York City, Atlantic City, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Washington D.C., Florida (to visit a friend), and random places in Canada are also possibilities.

| But, yeah, we’ll figure it out eventually, just as long as we do it by December 31, 2006.
