| This is a short, sweet one. I have a decent sum of money that’s been sitting in Time Warner stock since I was about twelve or thirteen (before they merged with AOL). I bought one hundred shares; it split to two hundred, then partially split again and I now have three hundred shares.

| Not too shabby, but I really should have redistributed it—I bought the shares for a comparatively small sum and before the first split I had already tripled my money. I believe I’m still ahead of the game because of the splits, but sheer point value is below the price for which I originally purchased the shares.

| I want to take two hundred of the three hundred shares out—putting me back to my original count—and either invest in a couple other companies, start a mutual fund, or buy a couple longer-term CDs where I can at least earn interest on the investment.

| By December 31, 2006, I will have sorted out this investment.
