| Anime Central is a yearly indulgence for me and Brian—three days of anime, games, discussion panels and fanboy stench at the O’Hare Hyatt. What more could we want?

| To join the masses. Every year we swear we are going to dress up and every year one of us bitches out because we’re self-conscious about the quality of our costume.

| Well I now have an awesome costume of Plenair from Disgaea (well, from other things, but I know her from Disgaea), and the only reservation I have about it is the scantily clad factor—but I should have lost at least fifteen pounds by then, so it will be okay. Nothing should stop me from finally cosplaying with the rest of ‘em.

| This one might be set to fail, though. My ex-boyfriend is slated to get married that exact weekend (which still baffles me, because he’s as big an anime convention buff as his friends, and of all weekends she picks that one) and as I’m rather obsessed with seeing him happy, I would love nothing more than to watch him do what he thinks will achieve that.

| This might be overstepping my bounds as I don’t even know if I’m invited yet. But I’ve heard that the Youngless clan is, and since my dad doesn’t really do weddings and Matt won’t forsake ACEN for it, I might hit it up with mom. (I will definitely have to ask the couple involved, though—despite the fact that I’m so far out of the picture I might as well be his sister, ex-girlfriends showing up at weddings are a tricky situation and I really don’t want to impose.)

| But if the whole wedding thing doesn’t pan out on my end, I will definitely partake in the ultimate confirmation of geekdom and cosplay at ACEN in 2006.
