Welcome to the first ever PJA event. This tournament will be held at Bob Polin's Pebble Beach. It's a great course that should provide for some dramatics. The dramatics really came in the race for 2nd. As Bob Leore raced past the field Joel Ferchoff had a 1 stroke lead on Mike Clark after the 2nd and 3rd round. Mikes blistering five under back nine, which inculded an eagle on the par four 11th hole, helped him take the lead in the overall finish. The birdie on the 18th locked in his 2nd place finish as he beat Joel Ferchoff by 1. Joel struggled to save par on each of the last 4 holes but did manage to save par on each of them. Courtney Vuke started off ok, but then fell to Pebble Beach, carding two 81's on the weekend. Leore destroyed the rest of the field basically all on the front nine. In his 3rd round he shot a 29 on the front and his final front nine was a 30. Great Job to all, especially the first ever PJA winner, Bob Leore.
