Mike's Opinion:

A classic Muzny design. I truely enjoyed this course. It took Muzny's classic, and realistic style, and set the course around a lake. This is one of the better designs he has done.

The course was set on a nice background that flowed well with the objects and pallette. I thought these things made the course feel like a real country club. The course is very tough, but fair. It is a real challenge to shoot under 68. The fairways were well guarded by bunkers and the lake was brought into play excellently. I loved the 14th hole. Like on most of the other holes bordering the water, it had a small jet, or pennisula, into the water. This provides ample space for some nearly imposible pin positions.

This was a very good course which afford some risk reward situations and a little bit of scenery. The addition of water to more of Muzny's holes makes this one of his more enjoyable courses to play. It is very tough, and well worth a download...

Joel's Opinion:

If you're looking for a good test of your golf skills, then you should play Bass Lake. This course is a definite test of golf. The fairways are well guarded by trees and bunkers and the greens have difficult slopes, but are always fair. In my opinion, you have to play a great round in order to break 70.

This course was somewhat lacking in scenery. Randy used the pallette from the Olympic Club. The Olympic Club is not a scenery course so there is not a great pallette. The one thing I didn't like was the colour of the water. But, the placement of trees made for some nice-looking shots. The placement of water could have also created some nice shots, but was somewhat ruined by the ugly water colour.

All in all, I think that this course is worth a download just because it is such a challening course.
