Specializing in fresh seafood, game and traditional fare, Ventana's restaurant Cielo serves California Cuisine emphasizing only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Many of the herbs and fruits are from Ventana's own gardens. Our own bakery provides a wide array of freshly baked breads and elegant dessert presentations.

An award winning wine list features California and imported selections, with a focus on our Central coast wineries. Our 110 seat restaurant, featuring mountain and ocean views, serves lunch and dinner daily. Our outdoor terrace can accommodate up to 120 and affords a panoramic 50-mile vista of the Pacific ocean. Lunch is served outside throughout the year, weather permitting. Our cocktail lounge has a comfortable seating area for up to 32 people around a large stone fireplace.

Cielo's architecture and setting are stunning. Sitting at the top of a bluff overlooking the Pacific, the dining room features an open-beam, vaulted ceiling supported by massive timbers. Windows provide views of the ocean and the surrounding hills. Shuttle service to the restaurant is provided, or for those who prefer a 15-minute walk, a wonderful, fully lighted trail leading from the restaurant to the accommodations winds through the wooded hillsides, past towering redwoods and massive old oaks.
