Sponsors Fee: Sponsors fee shall be $25.00 per team,
per season. Sponsor fee must be turned in by the 2 week of play. No points
shall be awarded to any team until their fee is paid.
President: The President shall receive $25.00 per four (4) teams.
Secretary: The Secretary shall receive $25.00 per each team.
Elections: The President and Secretary will be voted on at the
banquet. All players present may nominate their choice and vote.
Financial Statement: A financial statement will be handed out at the
banquet.
Meetings: The President or Secretary may call a meeting by
having the notice posted the weekly standing sheet 2 weeks before the meeting. The only
meeting that will mandatory, will be a Protest Meeting. Captains may send
anyone from their team to a meeting in their place.
Protests: A Protest Committee will consist of the President and the
Captains or their representatives, of each team in the league. There will a fine
of $10.00 charged for any protest NOT won. There will be fine of $20.00 charged to
any team not represented at a protest meeting.
Pool Tables: Bars with more than one (1) pool table, must close down
the non-league table Only if it interferes with league play. Bars with .50
tables, MUST provide .25 per game of league play. All taverns
must have a roster, rules, and a crutch available.
Sponsors: Sponsors are allowed to play as long as they are listed on
the roster sheet as a sponsor. If a sponsor sponsors more that one team, the sponsor
may shoot for either team, so long as they are not listed as a substitute or regular
player on any team roster.
Players: All player must be at least 21 years of age or older. a
player can play for another team if he/she quits one team and joins another with
approval of the President and the two Captains involved. If any player has
been barred from any bar in the league, that player must make arrangements with their
captain to find a legal substitute.
Subs: All legal subs listed on team roster are able to play at any
time. Additional sub or regular player must be put on the scoresheet or
called into the Secretary one week before play.
Rosters: All roster must be turned in by the 2nd week of play.
The roster will consist of 4 male and 4 female, as well as 3 male and 3 female subs.
the only way a player can be added other than the usual procedure of notification is
if both Captains involve agree.
Dues: Each player shall pay $3.00 per week of play. Each player
must furnish their own quarter for their rack. The visiting team must turn in $24.00
to the home team on night of play. Each home team Captain is responsible for turning
$48.00 and scoresheet on the night of play. Home Team Captain is responsible
for calling in the scores to the secretary before 5pm on Friday. Failure to call in
the scores will result in $10.00 fine. Failure to leave money and scoresheets
will also result in a $10.00 fine.
Game Time: League play shall begin at 7:30pm, with no grace period.
Visiting team may practice on the league table from 7:00pm to 7:30pm. No
player shall be on any other table during league play.
Game Discussion: Only the two (2) players involved in the game and the
SHOT CALLER may discuss shots and game strategy for that game . SHOT CALLER
MUST BE NOTED ON THE SCORESHEET! If the captain is not the same person, the
captain may help the shot caller and his/or her partner. If team shot caller must
leave early, a new shot caller must be made and the opposing team notified.

Racking: THE 8-ball is placed in the center of the rack, with 1 stripe
and 1 solid at corner; the 3rd corner being either of the 2. Players must
follow their own rack. All players must rack and break 1 time each night.
Breaking: Breaking player does not have to hit the head
ball on the rack. If a player pockets the 8-ball and does not scratch, that player
wins the game and a trophy at the end of the season. Table is considered open on the
break! If none or any balls are pocketed on the break, the table is open. If a
ball or balls are pocketed, the breaker has the option to shoot stripes or solids and use
an combo to establish stripes or solids . The 8-ball is NOT neutral. The
8-ball can be used in any combination but cannot be struck first. If the eight ball
and the cue ball are pocketed on the break it is a loss! If neither the stripe,
solid or eight ball drops on the break, the has an open table with the same option. Table
is open until stripes or solids are legally established.
If the break is scratched, the opposing player will have choice of ball and
allowed ball in hand "behind the line in the kitchen". If the 8-ball is
made and cue ball scratches or flies off the table, then the breaker has lost the game. .

8-Ball: When shooting the 8-ball, the pocket must be
marked within 1 diamond. If the pocket desired for the 8-ball is already properly
marked, it need not be touched or moved. Knocking the 8-ball in at anytime or in any
pocket not marked will result in loss game.
Break & Run: Any player who breaks and pockets all of his/her
balls of that suit will win the game and a trophy at the end of the league season.
Placing of Cue Ball: The cue ball can be placed on the table in the
kitchen for the breaking player and moved into position with the cue stick by the breaking
player only. HOWEVER, only side tø side, or backwards motion can
be used. Forward motion will be a foul. If the is placed into position for a
player by either the shot caller or that player's partner, the player attempting the shot
MUST touch the ball before shooting the shot, otherwise resulting in a foul.
Fouls: All fouls are ball in hand to the incoming player with
the exception to on the break, which results in ball in hand in the kitchen. Fouls
are as follows:
1. Any scratch (except on the break).
2. Double stroking the cue ball.
3. If after hitting your object ball, no ball goes to a rail or in
a pocket.
4. Not hitting your object ball or ball or your first suit.
NOTE: If a number ball jumps off of the table, It is a miss and loss
of turn not foul.
If 8-ball is jumped off the table it is a loss of game.
If it was the shooters ball that jumped off the table that ball would be spotted.
If it was
the Opponents ball, the ball will be pocketed.
If the cue
ball jumps the table it's cue ball in hand.
Loss of Game: Is as follows:
1. Knocking the 8-ball off the table,
2. Pocketing the 8-ball in the wrong pocket called
3. Pocketing the 8-ball out of turn.
4. Scratching on the 8-ball
5. Not marking the 8-balls' intended pocket.
Interruption of Normal Play:
In the event a match or completion of a match cannot be played at the bar it is scheduled
(due to circumstances beyond their control) the two teams have the following
options:
1. The home team can go the visitors bar.
OR
2 Go to a Bar that is in the league
OR
3. The games that have not been played can be split as
equally between the two teams. NOTE: In selecting
one of the above options both team captains must agree.
Forfeit: A team may have forfeit games if these rules are not
followed.
1. Excessive profanity
2. Harassment
3. Physical and/or verbal abuse.
4. A player may forfeit a game if they are not present
when it is his/her turn to shoot. if a
sub is used the sub must finish the
night of play.
** Note: A sub may replace a player after the games have started if
there is an emergency or both captains involved agree.
Drinks Rounds: The home team sponsor will pay for 2 drinks per
player per night of play. A total of 16 drinks per team, per night of
play.)
Additional Information:
Circumstances that can be resolved by both captains SHOULD
BE.
If checks are made, they should be made out to Kent Dopler. Not to
any pool league or any other designee. A $20.00 fee will be assessed to ay returned
check
Captains, make sure your rosters are legible. It is with these
roster that I will have trophies, If applicable, based on.
Captains, make sure you indicate on score sheets of any 8 ball
break or break and run for both teams.
