| On the night of Friday, May 6, 2005, team Club 8 Amsterdam in New York
delivered an incredible performance!
Team Club 8 Amsterdam won the New York 9-ball league playoffs final at Amsterdam Billiards Club! We played well throughout the 15-week season, ended 3rd (out of 16 teams) in the league, and qualified for the 2-night playoffs last Thursday and Friday. We outplayed all teams, including those with Tony Robles, George Sansouci, Jennifer Barretta, and so many other of New York's best players. Our Result: 2000 dollars for our team, 6 plane tickets to Las Vegas, and 6 trophies! We will participate in the National 8-ball Championships for American league teams from May 18 to 21, 2005 at the Riviera Hotel. Yes, Club 8 Amsterdam Team New York is also present in Las Vegas!
