Pyro 1394 Drive Kit To Enclose IDE Drives
The PYRO 1394 Drive Kit features an external drive enclosure that enables users
to convert an IDE Ultra DMA/33 or 66 drive, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD or DVD-RAM drive
into a FireWire drive simply by plugging into the ADS Native Bridge Board
inside the enclosure. At 400Mbps/50MBps, you will get the maximum data
throughput for your external drive.
Data-intensive files such as digital video and multimedia projects require a tremendous amount of storage. PYRO1394 Drive Enclosure is the perfect external storage solution that features FireWire connectivity.

The secret ingredient that converts your IDE or CD drive into a FireWire Drive
is the PYRO Native Bridge board. This board comes pre-installed in your PYRO
Drive Kit. The PYRO Native Bridge board is 1394a compliant and supports 1394
bus speeds of 100, 200 and 400 Mega bits per second. The Native Bridge board is
Flash Programmable via the included software. You can instantly change your
configuration from Hard Drive to CD Rom and back so you can change the type of
