| I am 27 years old and I first started singing when I was in Elementary School, thanks to the coersion of my mother. I've been singing ever since. My dad taught me guitar when I was around eleven years old. He taught me three basic chords and I learned the rest on my own through years of practice and determination. My style was formed after mimicking what I heard on the radio and saw on the tv.-recording and playing back my recordings for review.Once I knew the songs, I'd play them until I knew them inside and out.Then I defined my own style I was involved in Drama classes in High School. As well, I worked on the school television program. I keep my voice active and my style fresh by performing at local Karaoke Bars and studios and practicing my guitar playing each week, several times a week. I even have a little fan base at the Karaoke Bar. I was offered a recor deal with an independent label but chose to peruse my choices first... |
