It has been a while since my last blog post.  Over the past few months I have been busy with school and work.  I am proud to say that I have completed my first semester of school at George Mason University!  Film has turned out to be an exciting major; I have taken a class in Video Editing, Visual Thinking, English Composition, a FAVS colliquium course, and Intro to Film.  This January will mark the beginning of my second semester; the courses I am taking are Producing and Directing, Sound and Lighting, Voice Articulation, Special Topics in Film Theory: Documentary Film, and Advance Screenplay Workshop.  I am very excited to begin!

January is also the month I will be awarded my Associates Degree in Science--I earned through my studies at Germanna Community College and Northern Virginia Community College.  Although I am no longer a student of Germanna, I continue to work there part-time as the AV Tech.

I am also continuing my involvement with the Student Film Club at Germanna.  This past October, we held our very first Film Club screening; we sold tickets and held a show for students, friends, family, faculty, staff, and the general public.  Our short film "Shadow" from the 48 Hour Film Program and our first, incomplete film "Fair Enough" were the main titles in this show, along with our very own "Pupil Film Productions Interview", a documentary film.  The show went very well and we hope to get students involved with the club.  I would love to see our club run a local film festival for students, by students, every semester!

From Neigh Productions, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
