After being in the entertainment scene for more than 5 years,KRU can now stand tall and be look upon to.The brothers now,are,well established ,not only as singers but as composers,producers and bussinessmen.With about 10 albums to their name,2 box-ofice movies,2 comedies, KRU is graded among the A-graded celebrities.
This is the result of the hard work of the three brothers.Norman is more to the bussiness side,building the KRU empire .To note:KRU Berhad will enter the BSKL(Bursa saham Kuala Lumpur) in 2004.From a small room in the back of their house to a large company with assets up to 10 million ringgit.From having 3-5 workers,they now have about 20 employees under them.Now ,KRU Berhad ,has six small companies under them ,among them,,KRU Records,DB Lumens,KRU Pictures,etc.KRU also has just opened up their branch in Indonesia and Australia.In Indonesia, it will known as PT KRU Indonesia,while in Australia,it will be known as KRU Australia Private Limited.Norman is also the group leader of KRU and the main speaker for KRU .He's also a part-time politician ,where he helds a quite important position in the Pemuda UMNO.He also is a member of Karyawan ,an activist group which fights for the rights of people involved in the entertaiment scene.
Yusry is more to the creative side of the group,where he's more to song composing,song arrangement,album producing,vocal harmonising,album cover designing,and lately video-clip directing..He's also the manager of KRU Pictures.(not to mention the hottest member in KRU!)Yusry 's tallent in directing is simply excellent and has lots of potential to go further.Yusry's work in directing "Jangan lafazkan" was breathtaking .The cinematography was excellent,everyone agreed so. It was also nominated for "Best Videoclip of the year" ,but lost to Poetic Ammo's over-budgeted video (i still think ,"Jangan lafazkan" deserved to won) Yusry also directed X-factor's ,"Sehingga ke akhir hayat",which was shot in Pangkor.It was a beautiful video ,shot from different angles and great lighting..Currently,Yusry is in the process of directing and producing three programmes which are " Let's talk","Pop TV"(now showing),and last but not least,"Lagenda Melayu ".He's also the most-likely brother to get linked to other female celebrities,as he is such a "babe"!
Edry ,is more to the technical side.He's the one in charge with audio-engineering,mixing,mastering and is the manager in charge of KRU Records.He's also the one who's responsible for their latest album,"TYCO".The album's superb mastering,which had all these cool effects and high -tech stuff. According to Edry,a song normally takes about a week to master,but one song in TYCO took 3 months to master! Imagine the kind of work ,Edry had to do.Anyway,it was worthwhile,because the TYCO album was such a blast from the start to the end.
Now,KRU are making plan for their next album next year,which is also be KRU's 10th anniversary.It would surelly be the most memorable album no only for KRU ,but for KRU fans as well.As for me,i wouldn't miss the world for this album!!
