I like to listen ghazals. As I have already mentioned that I prefer lyrics to the music, its beat, and rhythm. Ghazal's lyrics are mostly very good and decent so that is why I like ghazals very much. I like Indian ghazal singers. Indian ghazal singers have flourished the ghazal singing in South Asia. I like ghazals with old music instruments like TABLA, flute, harmonium, etc. However some pop singers are also singing very good ghazals. Only a few people in Pakistan are singing good ghazals. Among them is my most favorite Nyera Noor and Mehndi Hassan. I like the following ghazal in voice of Nyera Noor very much. WO JO HAM MAIN TUM MAIN QARAR THA TUMHEN YAAD HO KE NA YAAD HO WO JO WADA YANI NIBHA KA TUMHE YAAD HO KE NA YAAD HO KABHI HAM BHI TUM BHI THE ASHNA TUMHE YAAD HO KE NA YAAD HO MUJHE SAB HAI YAAD ZARA ZARA TUMHE YAAD HO KE NA YAAD HO Others whom I like very much is Mehndi Hassan. He is wonderful in ghazal singing. Others include Salman Alvi and many other singers of India. (I do not know their names)
